How usedpump works

01

The race

On an open launch the create is public for 400 ms before anyone human can act. Bots buy first.

02

The pump

Here the create travels alone in one private bundle. Nobody knows the coin until it lands, and nobody buys in block 0, its creator included.

03

The open

Then trading opens for everyone, bots included. We can't lock the next blocks. We can show you who bought in them.

04

The ledger

Creator fees split on chain at launch, final at once. Every distribution and buyback is a transaction you can open.

  1. distributed 0.0312 SOL → buyback 0.0281 · platform 0.0031
  2. bought back 0.0281 SOL → 1.4M tokens burned
  3. distributed 0.0198 SOL → creator 0.0178 · platform 0.0020

FACTS

  1. 01Block 0 holds only the create, sent as a private bundle: nobody buys in it, the creator included.
  2. 02Every launch posts a 0.1 SOL deposit. It goes back to the creator's wallet when the coin graduates.
  3. 03Creator fees are split at launch, 90% to the creator or to buyback and burn, 10% to the platform. Set once on chain.
  4. 04Slots 1–2 after the create are open market. Every coin page lists who bought there, in red.

LIMITS

  1. 01Same-slot sniping is possible. A ShredStream bot can see the bundle's create as the slot is produced and land a buy later in the same slot. Rare, not impossible.
  2. 02Blocks 1–2 cannot be locked.
  3. 03Bundles may not land (non-Jito leader, tip too low, congestion). The launch waits, resends, and expires cleanly; the creator may pay a higher tip and retry with the same mint. Hot launches become tip auctions we do not control.
  4. 04pump.fun can change create_v2 flags, the fee program, or Token-2022 handling. Preflight script runs on every deploy; the SDK version is pinned; the site shows "launching paused" instead of failing.
  5. 05Hot keys (crank, buyback, escrow ops) can be drained if the server is. Each holds little and can do little; alerts on balance; the treasury is cold.
  6. 06We never say sniper-proof, bot-free, or fair for all.
